Equality and Human Rights Practitioners

To promote and embed equality and diversity in to our way of working we have recruited and trained a number of staff from across the hospital to act Equality and Human Rights Practitioners and champion equality, diversity and human rights in their every day roles.

The role of the EHRP's includes acting as a critical friend on diversity issues within their area of work, highlighting issues and advising and signposting on whether trust-wide equality work is incorporated in to local programmes of work, advising and supporting colleagues on equality and diversity issues and raising awareness of legislation and developments in best practice.

An information leaflet explaining who the EHRP's are, how to contact them, and their role can be accessed by clicking on the link below
