Welcome to the Staff Hub pages for the Medical Education Team at Liverpool University NHS Trust (LUH).
The department provides leadership and administrative support for Postgraduate and Undergraduate Medical Education activity taking place within the Trust and works in partnership with HEE, the Deanery and University of Liverpool regarding clinical training for medical students, doctors in training at all stages of their careers and GP trainees. In addition, the department supports the continuing professional development of specialty doctors and consultants. The department also supports medical associate professional roles such as Physicians Associates both student and qualified.

The department is overseen by our Directors of Medical Education, Dr Daniel Komrower (Aintree site) and Dr Rachael Ellks (Royal site).
Medical Education is located on the Ground floor of Clinical Sciences Centre (Aintree site) and within the Royal Education Centre (next door to Linda McCartney Centre) on the Royal site. Education is one of the key pillars of Liverpool University Hospitals Foundation Trust, and the Trust is one of the primary local education providers and teaching hospitals for medical students, trainees and learners.
