Postgraduate

The Postgraduate Education Team provides both administrative and pastoral support to doctors from Foundations Years to Consultants at LUHFT. We are responsible for the organisation of teaching programmes for Foundation Doctors, IMT’s and Clinical Fellows within the Trust, ensuring portfolio requirements are met, and high-quality teaching is delivered. We also quality assure the teaching programmes by inhouse feedback monitoring which is analysed by the programme directors. The team regularly meet with the Programme Directors for each training programme and the Directors of Medical Education.

The team also works closely with Clinical Education to ensure that the Doctors are compliant with Trust mandatory training and programme requirements.

Furthermore, the team organises Trust inductions for rotating doctors within LUHFT working closely with the IT and ID teams; the team co-ordinates numerous induction recordings to ensure a seamless transition of doctors into the trust.
