Immunisations

In line with national guidance, a program of immunisation and immunity assessment is provided from the Occupational Health and Wellbeing department.

 

Immunisations will be offered to nursing or clinical groups as well as non-clinical staff subject to the risks of the post.

 

This could include:

 

• Varicella (chicken pox)
• Mesles Mumps and Rubella
• BCG (TB)
• Hepatitis B
• Twinrix (Hepatitis A and Hepatitis B)
• Seasonal and Pandemic Flu
• Covid 19

 

All immunisations will be held on an Occupational Health data base; periodic recalls will be sent as indicated for follow up to the staff members home address.

 

Remember, everyone has a responsibility for their health and safety at work so everyone should make sure to attend as requested.
