Ill Health Retirement
The final decision on whether IHR is awarded to an employee will always be made by the pension trustees. In cases where an independent medical opinion is required, this should be given by an Occupational Health Physician.
We are able to provide a clinical opinion and support the Trust and staff through the Ill Health Retirement process governed by the Trust's specific Pension Plan rules.
This support enables informed decisions to be made and gives an independent clinical view of an employee's eligibility for ill health retirement
