Resilience
What is resilience?
Resilience is the ability to cope with stress provoking events – sometimes extreme ones. It is also about our ability to thrive in challenging circumstances, recognising that outside of the daily challenges and pressures we experience we are able to celebrate our strengths, recognise our areas for development, and draw on supportive relationships to keep us going.
What is the purpose of resilience?
We are all able to develop our Resilience. The more we work on this the easier it is to withstand those events without developing stress related problems. It is about finding the type of resource that works for you – a half day programme, a twenty-minute micro learn session, or reading some of ourbitesize resources.
