Why navigating change is important?

Large organisations are forever changing and LUHFT is no exception.  As you may be aware, Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust was created on 1 October 2019 following the merger of two adult acute Trusts, Aintree University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and the Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen University Hospitals NHS Trust.

The merging of the two organisations was integral to regional NHS plans to deliver improved quality of care and to make changes in existing care models.

Merger aside, within work we can sometimes feel like we are navigating change on an almost daily basis.  The scale of the change or our own personal experiences of change, can determine how we react and feel towards it.
