Resources to enhance your communication skills

Why clear communication is important?

In times of working under increased pressure and demand, finding the time to communicate effectively, whilst making your point clearly can be difficult. It is frustrating for those trying to communicate the message as well as those feeling they are not being communicated with.

Good communication is an essential tool in building and maintaining strong working relationships at LUHFT.

You will be here for one of two reasons:

1. You are a member of staff wishing to develop your own communication skills; this could be about being able to assert yourself, communicate more clearly or develop your confidence when communicating.

2. You are a manager/ leader looking to develop team communication or looking to further improve how you communicate with your staff and team.
