Firstly, we would like to congratulate you on your new role, and to wish you a warm welcome to LUHFT. We are so pleased to have you on board, and want to thank you for choosing us as your new place of work. Now that you have your unconditional offer, it’s time to formally welcome you to the Trust.
We’ve recently made some changes to the onboarding process, as part of our aim to make LUHFT the best place to learn and work. On your start date, you will attend a virtual “Welcome to LUHFT” session, led by the Organisational Development team, from 10am-12.30pm. The session has been designed to help you get to know how we do things here at LUHFT, and for you to get to know your new colleagues. The session will include an overview of the Trust’s vision, mission, and ambitions, as well as sharing some of the development, support and benefits available to you at LUHFT. You will also meet one of our Executive or Non-Executive Directors, who will speak about the Trust strategy.

If you have not used Microsoft Teams before, please make sure you download the programme in advance, and watch our guide to Good Practice on Microsoft Teams below. It is especially important that you log into MS Teams using your full name, so that we can mark your attendance correctly.
You may attend the session from home unless your manager has asked you to do otherwise: if you’d prefer to come into the Trust, we can reserve a PC in the library at the Royal or Aintree site for you.
Before the session, please have a look through our interactive packs. The Welcome to LUHFT booklet provides you with information about who we are at LUHFT, including our vision, values, and strategy. Our second booklet, Finding your Feet at LUHFT, is more detailed, designed to give you lots of useful information about how to get settled in your first weeks and months at LUHFT. This booklet should answer any questions you have about car parking, mandatory training, our health and wellbeing offer.
